Is it just me or is there a certain Alien influence going on here? I was thinking that some of the fiend art you posted on dA had a bit of a Giger-ish look to it.
When Orion edited this scene I think he wanted a Alien reference here lol. Design wise I hadn’t looked at Giger specifically but I could definitely see him being a influence, he is amazing after all.
Well, I mean, it’s basically a reversal of a scene from Aliens, where the marines are in a large room and someone’s calling out the the number of feet, yard or meters away the motion detector indicates the swarm of aliens is. And then the count down gets to a distance where the front of the swarm is clearly within the room, but the marines don’t see anything…
…then the alien start coming down from the air vents ABOVE.
Different set up and slight reversal, but yeah, same feel with the phone app detector (better than a motion detector!).
